Fortis Solutions Group was founded in 2010 through John Wynne’s acquisition of Labels Unlimited, a single-facility provider of pressure sensitive labels founded in 1979. John acquired the business and later rebranded to Fortis Solutions Group, with the vision of building a leading platform in the label space, primarily serving consumer brands. Fortis differentiates itself through unparalleled customer service, quick turnaround times, and leading production capabilities. The team has developed lasting relationships with blue-chip and high-growth customers across the food and beverage, health and beauty, and nutraceutical industries.

In 2017, we partnered with John and his team to help transform Fortis from a regional to national leader in the pressure sensitive labels category and successfully expand Fortis’ size, capabilities, and geographic reach. Leveraging our deep relationships in the consumer sector and our newly formed Board of Directors, we helped Fortis accelerate its organic growth and enter a number of new, higher-growth end markets. We also supported the team in sourcing, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities, leading to the consummation of eight add-ons which gave Fortis access to new customers, product capabilities and talent.
